The Freedom Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit giving circle charity established in 2018. All staff members, including myself, Roseann Giannone, Director, are volunteers and receive no salary for the work we do to sustain the fund. To date, we have raised over $50,000 through individual donations and merchandise sales, with no corporate funding, to provide financial assistance to deserving children and youth in the areas of music, art, dance, literacy, suicide prevention, hunger relief, healthcare, LGBTQ+ youth safe housing, animal rescue, and service dog training. Our committee meets several times each year to review and select deserving organizations to receive donations from the fund.
